Thainachtsmann

Mein Name ist Dennis. Ich habe mir 1993 Laotisch selbst beigebracht und 1999 dann begonnen, mir Thailändisch beizubringen – beides in Deutschland.

Leider habe ich noch nie in Thailand gelebt, aber ich war in zahlreichen Urlauben in meinem Lieblingsland Thailand, dem Land des Lächelns.

Der Name "Thainachtsmann" setzt sich daraus zusammen, dass ich aufgrund meines weißen Vollbartes viele Menschen an den Weihnachtsmann erinnere. Bei mir dreht sich so gut wie alles um Thailand und ich spreche zudem auch noch die Sprache.

ผมชื่อเดนนิส ผมสอนตัวเองให้พูดภาษาลาวตั้งแต่ปี 1993 และเริ่มสอนตัวเองให้พูดภาษาไทยในปี 1999 — ทั้งหมดนี้เกิดขึ้นที่ประเทศเยอรมนี

น่าเสียดายที่ผมยังไม่เคยอาศัยอยู่ในประเทศไทย แต่ผมเคยไปเที่ยวในประเทศที่ผมรักมากที่สุด ประเทศไทย ดินแดนแห่งรอยยิ้ม หลายครั้งแล้ว

ชื่อ "Thainachtsmann" มาจากความจริงที่ว่าผมไว้เคราขาวเต็มใบหน้า ซึ่งทำให้หลายคนนึกถึงซานตาคลอส สำหรับผมแล้ว ทุกสิ่งแทบจะหมุนรอบประเทศไทย และผมยังสามารถพูดภาษาไทยได้อีกด้วย
